Remote Linux server administration

Patching, hardening, backups, monitoring and upgrades for your Linux servers, by an experienced engineer working remotely from the EU, for clients worldwide.

Linux server administration, done remotely and documented

We look after Linux servers for companies that don't need, or can't find, a full-time administrator. You get an experienced engineer who keeps your systems patched, backed up and monitored, and who writes down what was done so you are never locked in.

On-premise, VPS or cloud

We work wherever your servers run: your own hardware, a hosting provider's VPS, or cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS and Azure. Distributions we work with include Red Hat Enterprise Linux and its rebuilds, Oracle Linux, Debian and Ubuntu.

How a remote engagement works

  1. Review: a short audit of your servers and what matters most to your business.
  2. Plan: a clear list of fixes and improvements, in priority order, with effort estimates.
  3. Work: changes in small, tested steps, scheduled with you, using access you control.
  4. Handover: documentation and runbooks your team, or any future admin, can follow.

Frequently asked questions

Can you administer our Linux servers remotely from outside our country?

Yes. All work is done remotely over secure channels such as SSH with keys or your VPN. We are based in Slovakia (EU) and work in English, in the Central European time zone, which overlaps with business hours across Europe and the morning in the Americas.

How do you access our servers securely?

Through access you create and control: a personal account with SSH keys, VPN access if you use one, and only the privileges the task needs. You can revoke access at any time, and changes are documented.

We are still on RHEL 7 or CentOS 7. Can you help?

Yes. We can keep end-of-life systems running as safely as possible in the short term, and plan and carry out the move to a supported release with a tested rollback path.

Can you take over servers from a previous administrator?

Yes. We start with an inventory and review, document what we find, fix the urgent risks first, and then agree on regular maintenance.
